TF Rhoden is a PhD candidate at Northern Illinois University.

His research and teaching interests include Southeast Asian politics, democratisation, human migration, development, state regimes, and comparative politics in general.

His current research analyses human migration from both the perspective of forced and non-forced movements of people and these processes within the larger framework of development, particularly in mainland Southeast Asia.
