Three recent acquisitions that arrived at the Library will interest New Mandala readers. The first is a remarkable work, the first of its kind in this sphere, Who’s Who in Thailand Politics 2013; a private effort by TGP Publications Bangkok. This handsome reference work in 274 pages profiles current members of the Senate, House of Representatives, and the Cabinet. It is written entirely in English, presumably as a resource for international media and other organisations. For each member there is a photograph and summary information such as career highlights, political experience, Royal decorations, appointments, even home address and mobile phone numbers.
