The ANU Thai Studies Conference 2015 aims to bring together academics and graduate students whose works are related to Thailand to present their research and exchange dialogue through panel discussions. The conference is structured in 4 panels: 1) state and governance 2) ideology and social formation 3) suppression and violence and 4) media and language. The conference also features a plenary keynote session by one of the leading Thai studies scholars, Professor Thongchai Winichakul from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The conference is open to the pubic and there is no registration fee. However, participants are encouraged to register prior to the event.
