Anne Booth is Emeritus Professor in economics at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Her research career has focused on the economic development of Southeast Asia and especially Indonesia. Her book “Living Standards in Southeast Asia: Changes over the Long Twentieth century, 1900-2015” is available via Amsterdam University Press. She is now working on a study of globalisation in Southeast Asia over the long term.
