Muhammad Beni Saputra is a PhD student at the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific, Australian National University. He completed his MA at the University of Manchester with a dissertation focusing on American media framing on Jokowi and Prabowo in the 2014 Indonesian presidential election. His research interests are media, politics, social media, and political Islam.
