Asia, Thailand, Bangkok, Street protests, Against all fears and speculation today┬Тs Red Shirt protests happened without violence, only minor pushing and shoving with police, when police tried to open one door to parliament to allow the policy debate to take place. The debate though had to be shifted to the ministry of foreign affairs, where Red Shirts also protested. Only seven injured were reported, mostly minor injuries received during the pushing in the crowd. The protest leaders controlled their supporters very well, and deescalating was when Red Shirts gave some of their insignia away to police officers behind the gates of parliament.
