Asia, Thailand, Bangkok, Street protests, About 30 000 Red Shirt protesters, supporters of the recently ousted Puah Thai Party (formerly People Power Party), gather to demand the dissolution of parliament and new elections. Later in the night they marched to parliament to protest there against the policy debate, allowing parliamentarians in but only by walking through the crowd of protesters. So far the ruling Democrat Party and its coalition partners refused to enter parliament, delaying the debate.
In the morning several thousand monks gathered to receive alms by Red Shirt protesters.
