Serena Ford is an associate editor at New Mandala. As a Bachelor of Asian Studies student at the Australian National University, she majors in Asia Pacific Gender, Culture and Media with a minor in Japanese studies. She is also principal flute in the Canberra Youth Orchestra and maintains an interest in the musical cultures of Southeast Asia.
