A few weeks ago we featured a marvellous interview with Harvard researcher Claudio Sopranzetti about the politics of motorcycle taxis in Bangkok. The interviewer was Arnaud Dubus. Arnaud has his own blog, Axis Asia, that is well worth following.
The blog’s objective is to describe small events – political, social or cultural – in Thailand that escape the attention of established media. According to Arnaud, the blog is “about elusive impressions, small happenings of daily life – like my regular encounters with the traffic police – and interviews with knowledgeable people : academic, politicians, journalists, Paragon shoppers or Isaan moto-taxis. ” It’s a lot of fun.
