Due to our travel commitments, New Mandala won’t be providing full coverage of Thailand’s election today.

However we invite you to post your comments on the ballot here. We are interested in receiving reflections on the election from throughout Thailand, not just the cauldron of Bangkok.

Will voter turnout, and the Pheua Thai vote, be enough to give Yingluck’s government renewed legitimacy? How widespread is disillusionment with the electoral system? How will the anti-government forces respond to the election? Is this the end of the road for the Democrat Party?
