Asia, Thailand, Bangkok, Violence, Riots, Bangkok saw at the 7.10.2008 a day of heavy street violence between anti government PAD and police, when police opened a gate at PAD surrounded parliament to allow a parliament session to proceed. PAD fought police with slingshots, a few 9 mm hand guns, iron bars and wooden clubs. Police used mostly tear gas grenades which resulted in many severe injuries including a few torn off limbs of protesters.
