Right now everyone naturally wants to know where Burma is headed. I have just returned from a quick trip to Yangon and in the weeks ahead will be writing a few pieces to give New Mandala readers a sense of what I saw and heard. It is, no doubt about it, an exciting time for the country and its people. Enthusiasm is palpable. But questions, of course, remain.
