Naw Esther Wah is a Karen activist from Tanintharyi Region, southern Myanmar. She has worked extensively with indigenous communities and civil society organisations both in Tanintharyi and across the country, supporting the protection, defence and recognition of community lands, forests and biodiversity.

Jack Jenkins Hill is a PhD Candidate at the University College London. He has lived and worked in Myanmar for over seven years, working with civil society organisations and forest dependent communities in Tanintharyi Region and beyond on land and forest tenure issues.
