Hilary Faxon is an Assistant Professor at the University of Montana, a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Copenhagen, and the leader of this research project on small farmers and big tech in Myanmar. Her broader scholarship investigates environment, development and technology with a focus on social justice in the Global South.

Kendra Kintzi is an incoming Cornell University Atkinson Center for Sustainability Postdoctoral Fellow. Her research focuses on smart development, digital mobilisation, energy, and climate change in Southwest and Southeast Asia.

Mai Van Tran is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Nordic Institute of Asian Studies and Department of Political Science, University of Copenhagen. Her research focuses on contentious politics and digital cultures under authoritarianism in the contexts of Myanmar's military dictatorship (1962-2010) and post-coup period (after 2021).

Kay Zak Wine is an independent researcher in Myanmar.

Swan Ye Htut is a Sociology PhD student at Stanford University. His research interests are in political sociology and social movements, in particular, on post-coup Myanmar and Myanmar diaspora communities in the US.
