Dr James Mitchell teaches online ethnomusicology courses at Missional University and has published widely on Thai popular music. He runs a moderately successful YouTube channel called "Thai Music and Dance", and is the author of "Luk Thung : the Culture and Politics of Thailand's Most Popular Music" (Silkworm, 2015).
