Margaret Jack researches the ways that long-standing infrastructures and historical memory interact with the contemporary use of digital tools. She is a postdoctoral scholar on the NSF-funded project “Creating Work/Life” and a research affiliate at the Digital Life Initiative at Cornell Tech in New York City. She holds a PhD in Information Science from Cornell University, with a minor PhD concentration in Anthropology and Southeast Asian studies. Margaret Jack worked as a financial analyst in the technology-media-telecom sector in Silicon Valley between 2010-2013.
