SOAS Thai society in conjunction with the Royal Thai embassy are hosting a talk about Thailand after the coup. A number of important Thai dignitaries are visiting the UK and will be comming to SOAS at 6PM Wednesday 23rd May in room V111 at SOAS’s vernon square campus. There will be a talk by 6 different speakers with a question and answer session afterwards. Everyone is welcome to attend and there is no need to book a seat. Kavi Chongkittavorn – Assistant group editor, Nation Multimedia Group and Chairman of the Bangkok based Free media advocacy group
Surasee Kosolnavin – Commisioner of National Human rights Commission of Thailand
Charas Suwanmala – Professor and Dean, Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University
Surat Horachaikul – Lecturer, Department of International Relations, Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University
